📏 Alufab Zimbabwe: Pre-Quote Measurement Checklist
Before our team at 202 Seke Road starts fabrication, we need accurate dimensions to ensure your Aluminum Hinged, Sliding, or Stacker doors fit perfectly. Follow this simple guide to get an initial estimate!
1. The Opening Type

[ ] New Construction: Is the opening a “rough opening” (just brickwork)?

[ ] Replacement: Are we removing an old wooden or steel frame?
2. Take Three Measurements (Width & Height)
Do not just measure once! Walls are often slightly uneven.

Width: Measure the top, middle, and bottom of the opening. Record the smallest width.

Height: Measure the left, center, and right side. Record the smallest height.
3. Check for Squareness

[ ] Measure diagonally from the top-left corner to the bottom-right, then top-right to bottom-left. If the numbers are the same, your opening is perfectly square!
4. Choose Your Style

[ ] Hinged: Does it need to swing Inward or Outward?

[ ] Sliding/Stacker: Which side should the fixed panel be on (left or right)?
5. Pick Your Finish
